چکیده

We describe our Session Initiation Protocol (SIP)-based VoiceXML browser, sipvxml, that allows programming interactive voice response applications that are accessible from telephones as well as IP phones. We also describe how we have used sipvxml in our multi-party multimedia conferencing server. We propose other applications and extensions that can benefit from this technology in our IP telephony test bed. (keywords: Internet telephony; interactive voice response; SIP; VoiceXML; sipvxml)

Representing New Voice Services and Their Features

New voice services are investigated in the fields of Internet telephony (SIP – Session Initiation Protocol) and interactive voice systems (VoiceXML – Voice Extended Markup Language). It is explained how CRESS (Chisel Representation Employing Systematic Specification) can graphically represent services and features in these domains. CRESS is a front-end for detecting feature interactions and for...

Personal Voice Call Assistant: VoiceXML and SIP in a Distributed Environment

In this paper we introduce the architecture of a distributed service platform that integrates speech, web technology and voice-overIP technologies and describe how a specific service can be built using these technologies. The electronic assistant is an advanced voice-based service, that answers incoming calls and takes messages, consulting the user's calendar and address book. A novel contribut...

Specifying and Realising Interactive Voice Services

VoiceXML (Voice Extended Markup Language) has become a major force in interactive voice services. However current approaches to creating VoiceXML services are rather low-level. Graphical representations of VoiceXML are close to the textual form of the language, and do not give a high-level description of a service. CRESS (Chisel Representation Employing Systematic Specification) can be used to ...
